Itinerary
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, you’ll be greeted by your safari guide and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. Enjoy a relaxing evening before heading into the wild.
Depart early for Ndutu, located in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and part of the southern Serengeti ecosystem. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive through open plains alive with migratory herds and predator activity during calving season.
Spend a full day exploring the Ndutu plains. This area is a seasonal hot spot for the Great Migration (Dec–Mar), when wildebeest give birth and predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas stay close. Enjoy incredible photography and wildlife viewing in this open and wild setting.
After a morning game drive, travel through the highlands to the Ngorongoro Crater. Arrive at your lodge perched on the crater rim and enjoy sweeping views over this unique ecosystem.
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to black rhinos, lions, elephants, hippos, and more. After lunch, return to Arusha for your flight or onward travel.
