Role Summary
You will lead our sales and marketing efforts, combining creative digital marketing strategies
with
effective sales techniques to attract and convert leads into satisfied customers. The ideal
candidate will be passionate about travel and possess a strong understanding of digital
marketing
and sales in the travel industry.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, social media, email, and
content
marketing).
- Manage and optimize advertising campaigns on Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Create engaging content (blog posts, newsletters, landing pages) that promotes our safari
offerings and enhances SEO performance.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key marketing metrics.
- Grow and manage the company's social media presence with engaging, high-quality content.
Sales
- Respond to inbound leads and inquiries through the website, email, phone, and social
media.
- Qualify leads and guide them through the sales funnel to conversion.
- Build strong relationships with potential customers and provide personalized safari
itinerary
advice.
- Close bookings and ensure smooth communication between customers and the operations team.
- Maintain CRM records and update sales pipelines and forecasts.
Partnerships
- Identify and develop partnerships with travel agencies, influencers, and affiliates.
- Represent AJM Tours & Safaris Kenya at trade shows, expos, and industry events.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in sales and/or digital marketing.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficient in using CRM tools.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and leads simultaneously.
- Passion for travel, wildlife, and nature.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with international audiences and global markets.
- Knowledge of Kenyan and East African safari destinations.
- Familiarity with content marketing and influencer partnerships.
