Itinerary

Day 1: Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park

Your journey begins with an early morning pick-up from your Mombasa hotel. You’ll drive to Tsavo East National Park, one of the largest and oldest parks in Kenya. Upon arrival, enjoy your first game drive in this vast park, famous for its large herds of elephants, which are often seen covered in the park’s distinctive red soil. The park is also home to lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of bird species. After a thrilling day of wildlife viewing, you’ll check in at your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Tsavo East to Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, you’ll head to Amboseli National Park, known for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. Upon arrival, you’ll embark on a game drive through the park’s grasslands and swamps, where you’ll have the chance to spot large herds of elephants, buffaloes, and wildebeests, as well as giraffes, zebras, and a variety of birdlife. The park’s unique ecosystem, with the towering mountain in the background, offers one of the best photo opportunities in Kenya. In the late afternoon, you will head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay, with the possibility of a sunset game drive for more wildlife encounters.

Day 3: Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park

After an early morning game drive in Amboseli, you will depart for Tsavo West National Park, known for its varied landscapes, including volcanic hills, savannahs, and waterholes. Once you arrive, enjoy a game drive that takes you to Mzima Springs, a beautiful natural spring that is home to hippos, crocodiles, and a wide variety of birds. Tsavo West is also famous for its lions and elephants, as well as the rare black rhino. After your game drive, check in to your lodge for a delicious meal and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Tsavo West to Mombasa

On your final day, you’ll start the day with an early morning game drive in Tsavo West, where you can explore more of the park’s wildlife and stunning landscapes. You may also visit the Sheldrick Falls, a hidden gem within the park. After breakfast, you will begin your drive back to Mombasa, arriving in the afternoon, where your safari adventure concludes.
