3 Day Safari to Tsavo West and Amboseli from Mombasa, Kenya

Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your Mombasa hotel. You will journey to Tsavo West National Park, known for its dramatic landscapes, including rolling savannahs, volcanic hills, and natural springs. Upon arrival, embark on your first game drive in search of the park’s diverse wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species. A highlight of Tsavo West is Mzima Springs, a serene oasis where you can spot hippos, crocodiles, and numerous birds. After an exciting day, check into your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you’ll head to Amboseli National Park, famous for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, which looms over the park’s vast plains and wetlands. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive through Amboseli’s diverse ecosystems, where you can witness the majestic herds of elephants that the park is renowned for. The park is also home to lions, zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, and a wide variety of bird species. With the towering snow-capped peak of Kilimanjaro in the background, Amboseli provides one of the best photography opportunities in Africa. In the evening, relax and enjoy a hearty dinner at your lodge, followed by an overnight stay.

On your final day, enjoy an early morning game drive in Amboseli to catch the wildlife at their most active. Depending on the time of year, you may also witness migratory bird species or see elephants interacting in their natural habitat. After breakfast, you’ll begin your drive back to Mombasa, arriving in the afternoon and concluding your safari.
