Itinerary

Day 1: Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park

Your journey begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Mombasa. You will drive to Tsavo East National Park, one of the largest and oldest parks in Kenya. Upon arrival, enjoy an exciting game drive through this rugged wilderness, famous for its large herds of elephants with their striking red dust-covered coats. Keep an eye out for other wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and numerous bird species. After a thrilling day of wildlife viewing, you’ll check in to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, where you can relax and enjoy the serene surroundings

Day 2: Tsavo East to Tsavo West National Park

After an early breakfast, embark on a morning game drive before heading to Tsavo West National Park, which is just a short drive away. Tsavo West is known for its dramatic landscapes, including volcanic hills, scenic valleys, and lush vegetation around its waterholes, which attract a wide variety of animals. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to witness the famous Mzima Springs, where crystal-clear water gushes from underground aquifers, and is home to hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife. The park is also known for sightings of big cats, elephants, and rhinos. After a day of exploration, you will be transferred to your lodge in Tsavo West for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Tsavo West to Mombasa

Start your final day with an early morning game drive in Tsavo West, giving you the chance to catch a glimpse of the park’s wildlife at their most active. If you’re lucky, you may spot some of the park’s rare species, such as the black rhino. After breakfast, you’ll have some time for another game drive or a visit to Sheldrick Falls, before heading back to Mombasa. You will be dropped off at your hotel in Mombasa in the afternoon, concluding your unforgettable safari.
