The safari can be enjoyed year-round, but the dry seasons (June–October and January–March) are the best times for wildlife viewing as animals gather near water sources, and the vegetation is less dense.
Pack lightweight, neutral-colored clothing, comfortable shoes, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, a camera, binoculars, personal toiletries, and a light jacket for chilly mornings and evenings. A small backpack is useful for essentials during game drives.
