2 Day Safari to Tsavo East and Tsavo West from Mombasa, Kenya

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Mombasa. You’ll drive to Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya’s oldest and largest parks, known for its vast open savannahs and iconic red elephants. Upon arrival, you’ll embark on an exciting game drive through the park, spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and an array of birdlife. The park’s dramatic landscapes, dotted with acacia trees and riverine vegetation, provide excellent opportunities for wildlife photography. After an afternoon of thrilling game viewing, you’ll check into your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, where you can unwind and reflect on the day’s experiences.

After an early breakfast, you’ll depart for Tsavo West National Park, a place renowned for its diverse terrain, including volcanic hills, dense bush, and natural springs. Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy a game drive through the park, stopping at Mzima Springs—a beautiful oasis where you can see hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species. Tsavo West is also known for its large populations of elephants, lions, buffaloes, and the endangered black rhino. After a morning of game viewing, you’ll have a relaxing lunch before beginning your drive back to Mombasa in the afternoon, concluding your safari adventure.
